Love146, Inc was registered as a public charity in the Philippines in October 2007. It is a non-stock, non-profit and non-government organization with License No. DSWD-SBRL-00041-2010. Love146, Inc. works toward ending trafficking and exploitation of children and youth and providing survivor care in safe homes.
What we give is a second chance. The first chance a person has is at birth. But these children were born into an unfavorable situation. We offer another chance at life
In this second chance, we make physical and emotional space for children to encounter love and God, and to be transformed by such. These children had a difficult childhood. We offer an alternative childhood wherein they are loved, respected, protected, and restored.
The problem is complex and huge. We do not have all the resources to tackle it on our own. We need collaboration at all levels - within the organization and with others outside.
Given the moving time and the urgency with which the problem should be dealt with, as well as the limited resources and hence the need to prioritize, we choose to focus on the bigger problems and break them down into smaller, more manageable problems, and tackle each one with dedication and diligence.
What we strive to contribute to society are individuals who are in the process of becoming the best they can be, considerate of others, and responsible citizens leading resourceful and satisfactory lives. Gundelina A. Velazco
